Engraving a hawk head

Hey fello hawk fanatics,

I'm in need of someone that can engrave a hawk head. I would like something deep enough so if I got the head parkerized or blued it would continue to be seen. Does anyone know of a person I could work with to have this done?

We've never found anyone who could do it deep enough for that. We've had laser-etching done on the polished heads but it's very fine and even a rough polishing would have ruined it.

how about acid etching...?

i have a waterjet guy i need to talk with too, but both those alternatives are intense.
