Hello everyone, I haven't posted much on Bladeforums but I'm going to pick that up a little and I look forward to it.

A while ago a Spyderco forum member sent me a stainless ladybug out of pure kindness.

I'm thinking I'd really like to have the handle engraved somewhere but I haven't yet decided much about design.

I would LOVE to see some pictures of your engraved knives, and if you have advice on a good engraver that would help too.
(A lot of my desire to get this engraved comes from seeing one of the The Deacon's beautiful kiwis that's an absolute work of art.)

So if anyone's willing to share I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

There are lots of very talented engravers out there and a number of different engraving styles. As for the SS Ladybug, IMHO, it's a neat little platform for engraving.

Ed Schempp 75mm Persian, engraved by Bob Hawley of Windy Ridge Designs...

Another 75mm Persian, this one engraved and gold inlaid by Marcus Hunt of the UK...

SS Kiwi 2, also by Marcus Hunt...

and another, this one engraved by Antonio Montejano of Spain...

Last, but not least, a bolstered Kiwi engraved by David Clevinger...

Thanks for the pictures guys they're all really well done. I'm gonna try to find someone local to do the work but I may end up sending it off.

Glad to be of help. Don't know where you live but the Firearms Engravers Guild of America has members all over the USA, and a few in other countries and most of their members engrave knives as well as guns.
