Engraving Tutorials needed

A fellow graphic designer mentioned he may try engraving. I need links to email him so if you have them please post them

I assume as a graphic designer he has an art background. You really need an artists eye for layout etc. If you engrave animals and birds you also need to know the anatomy, it's frustrating to see an animal engraved tha t doesn't look like one. The other thing you need is manual dexterity.Start out with simple tools [no machine] and lots of scrap metal to practice on. Don't try hard metal or curved pieces until you've got experience .
