Just saw my first Seal/Trident emblem stamped on a Sog seal 2000 M37. Looks "official" originating in Okinawa (where special forces are stationed). First 100 designated as "1st generation". Anyone seen such a knife? If so, do you feel it's taking away recognition from Sog's Trident model?

If it's the one mentioned here, it's a correct, but rare knife -

I remember they used to get used in ads and magazine articles a lot. It doesn't bother me, SOG is a maker of real SEAL knives and it is a real military issued model (without the added embellishment) so it's not lying. That being said, I wouldn't pay much extra for it unless you were a serious SOG collector and you really like the knife.
