Enhanced tip strength on 2001 Endura?

Is this strengthening only for the serrated models, or does it include the plainedge. Also, what has been done to increase the strength?

Hi Fabian. Two phases.

1st change was to increase the plain edge portion of the serrated version by several mm.

The 2nd phase (not out in the public yet) is to change the hollow grind to a flat grind which gives more meat at the tip.

The flat grind is not edge to spine, just what is now hollow. Should begin in the summer.

I love the 'flat ground edge to spine' blade of the Calypso Jr. I wish that my Almite Navigator had the same grind...
