I finally got a chance to get outside with my Camp Muk this afternoon. Wow, I love this knife!

This is not a review but just some pictures and a few initial thoughts.

It is very comfortable in use. I really appreciate the height in the handle, giving me that extra torque needed when rendering small logs into kindling.

I used to dislike the shape of Muks. They've slowly been growing on me, I think I'll end up getting one or two at some point. Nice pictures!

tek

you have what might be my favorite Camp Muk!

does your 5yr old have a Northfield?
because that would be awesome as.......

Haha, yes he does. He's very proud of it too! I think he knows I like it...

Well it started out as mine, then he asked to use it...and carry it...and keep it in his dresser...

Awesome pics! The Camp Muk is a killer design and beast of a knife. Glad to see one getting used well!

Man, that is exactly what that knife was made for! I love the pics. This is how I prep my fireplace fires as well. Looks like an excellent way to spend some time with the litter you have going. I love seeing them all heads down working on their pieces of wood. That is now my desktop!

I gotta agree with Phillip, btw. That Camp Muk was one of my favorites.

It was a great afternoon!
No, they don't have any of my Fiddlebacks yet, though they keep asking for them. I'm thinking I may need to pick up a couple Hiking Buddy models.

That is a gorgeous camp muk! Definitely of of the nicest ones I have seen. I love the picture of the kids working on the feather sticks. Thanks for sharing the great pics!

Love to see the photos, especially of the young ones learning the tricks of the trade! Thanks for sharing Tekton!

I've really become a fan of those olive colored bolsters, and that one is sure a beauty with the wood.

That is a gorgeous knife. Thanks for the pics and mini review. Cool seeing the kids at work too.

Thurin, it was actually your review of the Camp Muk that made me decide to try one. So, thank you.
