Not working a full time job for the past month has really allowed me to catch up on things. The American Ninja model and name evolved from friends and other knife enthusiasts. I wasn't wild about the name at first but it just seemed to stick! Naturally, the smaller version HAD be be called the Neck Ninja

3 5/8" blade 7 1/2" OAL!!
When I first developed the American Ninja (5" bladed version) my goal was to put as much blade length in the shortest overall length as possible. This was accomplished by putting the integral finger guard as close to the blade as possible and using the recurve blade shape. The same principals were used in
the design of the Neck Ninja. I try to make my knives as light as possible, especially neck knives. The Neck Ninja is made from 1/8" D2 material with 11 holes drilled in the tang, under the Ti. panels, to reduce weight. The blade is double ground to a thin edge, as thin as the edges on my hunters! The point is similar to my tactical models. The top false edge/bevel is ground to leave as much material on the point as possible. The standard model above features a hand rubbed finish, thumb serrations, rainbow anodized Ti. panels with what I call "reverse bubbles" , epoxy coated cord wrap and comes with a Kydex one piece neck sheath. The scan above doesn't show the top edge very well and the "bubbles" REAAALLY stand out on the anodized panels!!! Good pics coming SOON!!!!

Hey Neil, Great looking knife. Love that grind line. When I get a grind line like that it is usually because I've screwed up doing a straight one

Wish you could see me smile.
WOW

Neil,

You left out the part where I bitched and moaned and whined for half a year. Awesome knife and I know you will keep them coming. Let me know when mine ships.

Thanks everyone!
This may sound odd but I've just been carrying one of these for the past few days. Is it OK to review my own knife??

Actually, all I will say is that it IS very light, easy to carry and has PLENTY of grip.
I liked it enough to cut out a Talonite blank. I'm going to give it a thicker edge and make it a real user without the anodized panels. Since I sold one of my OWN Stellite knives to a local customer and my old Talonite "user' was lost at sea

......I'm hoping this will be MY new daily carry knife !!!
Drac Noroc has one of the prototypes for this knife. The prototype was the reason I put this design on hold for so long!! I had to make changes to my grinder in order to grind the blade! Nicholas, your enthusiasm was much appreciated

Neil, I checked your site a few weeks ago to see the pic of the American Ninja again. When I didn't see it there I was shocked!!! "He MUST make that knife," I thought! I'm glad to hear that you are indeed making that knife- it is beautiful.

Next time I have a knife question I'll just bug you on e-mail, as I can't put myself through that again
