I wasn't there, and (unfortunately) the post show sales haven't had much to pique my interest. (I did have a Pavlovian response to that bone handled Infidu, though.) Besides, all this fuss over Blade has distracted from the Memorial Day Ganzaaa - we went from confirmation emails to nothing :(.
Today, I saw that one lucky hog received his MOABM. Anybody else get their scores?

I'm not agreeing with the overall theme of your post but that bone handle Infinidu was sexy, gorgeous knife

Enough about Blade?! Have you ever been?

Hope your Ganzaa stuff comes in 2 weeks time.

I didn't expect anybody to agree with the theme, lol...but the MOABM post got me wondering if other people were getting their Ganzaaa purchases already. Since there's still a fairly heavy fixation on THE SHOW, it seemed like a good way to draw attention.
No offense was actually intended to any of the shows participants, attendees, or spectators.

Patience Grasshopper

I've been waiting 2.5 yrs on a piece that was only supposed to take a year, and I know when my Ganzaaa order is getting here; so patience is not an issue. I'm just curious whose gotten what, and interested in seeing what they choose (in terms of both knife and handle scales)

Jerry was supposed to hand me my Busse chisel ground knife but I never made to BLADE that year and it still sits in his drawer.
He said the knife transfer must be a hand-off.

...Yeah, let's talk about getting the BIG NUCLEAR SABER HOG BAIT released!!!!

...Aaaaaand the crowd moans, "Not Again?".;)

Hey, you KNEW it was coming.:D

Lost on that one - but guessing it's a reference to threads wanting certain knives? I've seen a few, but not really paid attention. I'm really a stranger in this neck of the woods...don't own a Busse, have only participated in one Ganzaaa - and I'm rather surprised that I was able to do that. I've seen a few Busse knives that interest me; often right after they've sold...but sometimes there are other reasons that cause me not to buy. I'm sure it will happen one of these days.
So - now that I've admitted that, is there such a thing as a Nuclear Saber Hog Bait? I saw a reference to the Nuclear Seahorse. (you may fire at will, lol...after you're done, let's drink)

Only in my dreams my Friend! Like Lycosa's quest for chisel ground goodness, this is my grail Busse...

Welcome to the sickness.;)

Drink up me hearties yo ho!

I'm not wholly new to the sickness - I've got a handful from the 'Yard, and a few handfuls from the Swamp. Just waiting to see which Busse will be the one to suck me in (the BIG TG almost got me at the last Ganzaa).

So what's the story on the NSHB? It looks like something trapped between the real world and CAD.

hhmoore,

That is a "shopped" rendition of the recently released B8LE. The LE was a nice lightweight model, so I'm hoping a "Beef"-ier run will follow with a thicker blade (.275" like the Dogfathers of old). The mock-up has a couple features I'd request from the custom shop - Swedge, SAR style jimping, a slightly lower drop at the nose than the LE's came with and of course an ASYM edge. Nuclear meltdown treatment would be cool if it came with a finger choil, but I (and a number of others who have chimed in) prefer choiless. The flat index finger area is a feature I'd REALLY like to see. It's the perfect length to allow the hand to choke up for finer work without the annoying little bump to deal with. Just bring the Talon hole up a bit (like the SAR5 and HogMuk) and you're all set.

We'll see what happens, ya never know what the janitor has in mind when he opens the closet door to get to work.

My Infi has arrived...
Actually, it got here yesterday; but I was too tired to deal with the camera (charging battery, going outside, uploading, resizing, etc)

During the pre-Ganza commentary, somebody commented that these were thinner than regular RMDs & dubbed them Thinfidus. Maybe it's my eyes; but it looks just a hair thicker than one of my other Infidus...could be the same; but it definitely isn't thinner. (I didn't compare to a stock RMD)

Not a big deal to me - but I noticed the logo etching is a little funky on the T. It's weak on the red/black handled; and barely there on the green/black
