How long have these been out? Has anybody used one much? I am thinking about getting one, for hunting/skinning. Opinions guys? Thanks, Josh

If you can find one of the older/discontinued original FB05 Temperance 1 models it will be your most dearly loved outdoor knife. I personally plan on getting a Temp 2 and a Southfork both but I will never give up my original Temp 1>> it's one of the very few outdoor knives that you can get in plain edge and full Spyderedge.

I think Spyderco has made huge strides in it's fixed blade sector and I'm looking forward to seeing what else is coming down the line. My best friend is currently carrying his Streetbeat model with him as an EDC. And I can see why because it's a great utility blade.

If there is one fixed blade on the entire market and I could get any of them I wanted I would immediately get the Spyderco SouthFork

They've been out for a few months now. Personally, I don't feel unskilled enough to have any use for a 3" blade made from 4mm stock.

Just order the H1 sheepsfoot.

Lightweight 3" knife. Great for EDC.
