Its been unseasonably cold in ohio for the last 2 weeks or so. Went over a week without getting above freezing, several days in the teens. Ice and snow and idiot drivers
. I'm sick of it:barf: .
I've got some projects going for christmas presents and I'm scrambling to get them done. Can't ever seem to make it out of work before 5:30 or 6:00 so I'm stuck working late at night in the shop at home. Was trying to do some more welding tonight. Started about 7:30 and it was 5 degrees F out. Had to keep the doors cracked for ventilation so there wasn't any chance of it warming up. I didn't feel too bad while I was moving, but if I slowed down it got cold quick. Finally about 9:30 I messed up the contact tip on my welder and had to fiddle around cleaning that out. Gloves off, no heat coming off the welder and not moving much I thought I was going to freeze. Gave in, put stuff away and went inside. The temp had dropped to 2 degrees F. I don't know how I'm ever going to get this stuff done in time when its this friggin cold out :grumpy:
