I've wanted a knife by Enrique Pena for a while now, I actually think I'm still on his books for a Ti scaled slippy at some point, but I had the opportunity to pass a knife onto a friend who really wanted it, and get into a knife I've been wanting to try out for a while... So I jumped...

The handles are LSCF with a black G10 Bolster...

The lanyard that came on it (I assume from the start) is a sweet braided leather, I wish I knew how to tie that.

The Zulu shaped blade is a hand rubbed mystery steel, and I really dig it.

The 4" folder is a really nice size for actual carry and usage. Sometimes the trend with traditionals is to go light and small, I've found I prefer larger knives with liners.

Anyway, hope you guys like it, looking forward to seeing what you think!

Great knife by a very fine maker. The lanyard is pretty simple to make. It takes some planning to get it right though.

Congrats on a great knife. Nice pics too, you might consider posting them in his thread.

That's a beauty. I'd bet the steel is CPM-154 ss

Nice-looking knife, congratulations

Very, very nice! That one would be right up my alley as well. Great size & shape, large-ish and robust, yet sleek & slender. Great looking, too, with the CF and G10 providing a nice complementary combination.
