For a long time I've thought about having a knife made for me...a functional EDC knife that had all of the things I liked
in a knife and none of the things I don't. I finally started doodling a while ago, eventually committed to a design that worked for
me, and then sat on it.
I met a knifemaker in Ontario (Craig Wheatley) that I had a lot in common with, and eventually started talking about perhaps making the knife I'd drawn up.
One thing led to another, and the knife was underway. I took delivery on it this past week, and I have to say...what a tank!
Everything about it is purpose driven; it's small ( 2 in blade, 1 1/4 in deep) at 5 in. overall, but chunky and solid. I've been carrying it ever since, and I think my EDC rotation has shrunk considerably. It does everything I need to do on a day-to-day basis, no compromises, and I am VERY happy with the way it turned out.

That's a stubby-cool little piece - good work by Craig.

Looks like you could almost open a can of paint with it. When you were ready to close up the paint can you could use the handle to hammer the lid back in place. Looks like if you couldn't pry off the lid you could just puncture it through and cut it open using the knife like a can opener. Looks like a real hardy tool and likely it wouldn't be mistaken for a weapon if you were ever shaken down by law enforcement.

To the OP, it helps if you don't post pictures from another forum that you have to register for to see your pic. Recommend you use photobucket or something similar to host your pictures.
