Just arrived this afternoon. First impressions:

Damn it's thick! And heavy! More so than I expected.

Not impressed with the sheath -- hard to get the knife in & out, but I keep telling myself it's getting better the more I use it.

I'll be spending a couple days at the lake, July 26th-28th. Hope to put it to good use.

I have one of his proto Wakizashis made just before he released the Entrek line. It is very sturdy and has a much better sheath than those presently offered. The sheaths currently supplied with the larger Entreks are not very impressive.
