Has anyone any comments from experience about the Entrek Destroyer or Entrek Knives in general.

I really like the design of that knife though I don't know if I am crazy about the grinds or the steel.

Anyone have any experience w/ their cust svc dept?

Got one at blade 2 years ago, dont rember the model but its a bigg one. its a nice knife will post pics/infe later on. :D

Got an Entrek Badger last week. Fit and finish was

excellent - best I've seen on a production knife. Edge

was fairly sharp out of the box. Not impressed with the

kydex sheath. The kydex clip is very loose fitting on a

belt and would not hold the knife securely. For EDC you

would need to have a sheath built. Bottom line, great

knife, crappy sheath.

I've had two Entreks, great knives not so great sheaths. Both knives held up very well.

I have a Cobra and it is excellent. Don't let the 440C fool you as Entrek has gotten the ht down to a science and get the absolute best from this great steel.

I have the Entrek Destroyer. The handle is too small for a chopper, imo. Also, the edge is obtuse. It doesn't chop very well. Fit and finish are ok. Materials are good, 440C and micarta. I prefer my Ranger RD7 or Swamp Rat Chopweiler over it. Entrek knives are well made, but I was disappointed in the Destroyer as a chopper.

I guess the problem w/ the Destroyer as a chopper is the grind.

Do you know what the weight of the Destroyer.

What is the weight of that browning "Competition Knife"

Browning weighs in at 17.4 ounces and is a great chopper. Can't seem to find a weight on the Entrek.

I've got one or two someplace at home and I agree with everyone else so far. Decent knife with ok F/F, craptacular sheath.

The Destroyer weigs 18oz according to an email from the man himself, w/ a COG ca 1.5" ahead of hilt.

BTW, what is F/F Oilman?

Fit and Finish. How well it's put together. Any visable voids where materials meet? Are the grinds crisp and even? Any weird spots in the blade finish? Stuff like that.

I have a Badger and I was impressed with it, but like everyone else said the sheath severely sucks. It is an excellent little work knife and I wish I could find someone locally to make a sheath for it.

I bought an Entrek Lynx (very small 6.25 OAL) a few months back, and strapped it onto my IBA for deployment.

Very pleased with the knife, extremely study yet compact. Great balance, great edge.

Others have said, and my experience concurs, that the Entrek kydex sheath is actually not bad. Probably because you'd get really ticked off customers if you shipped a neck-knife with a loose sheath.

Overall pleased with the products, and the Lynx perfectly fit all my criteria for a extremely sturdy just-big-enough utility FB.

I agree, the Entreks are well made. I just don't think their Destroyer is a very good chopper. A cheap camp machete works better.

I've got a SubHilt Silhouette and it's great, as for the sheath it's pure crap...I had Normark made me one and it's perfect...Cheers!!!
