Im curious if anyone has had any experience with this blade they would care to share. There isnt a whole lot of info on the knife compared to others.
Im seriously considering this knife for my backup camping and backpacking knife in place of my Mora no.2 which is identical in design but completely separate in strength. Ive not broken a Mora before. but i feel that an upgrade to my already favorite knife wouldnt hurt. So id like to hear any opinions and experience with the Forester. Thanks.

I don't know about the forester, but I am a fan of Entrek knives. I've used a Javalina in the woods for the past 5 years, it's held up very nicely.

I have a few Entreks and can't help but be impressed. They ain't the prettiest knives on the market, The Ranger MK II not withstanding, but boy can they get the job done. Ray has a heat treat that brings out the best in 440C. He's offering some of his knives in 154cm, nowadays, and he also is starting to offer polished blades as opposed to the bead blast finish he puts on the non-blackened models. One of the most underrated knives out there, possibly because he doesn't market himself too much. Reminds me a bit of old Hershey, who once said the best advertising is an empty Hershey bar wrapper tossed on the ground.

Oh and if you damage or break his knives in any way, shape, form or reason,he'll repair or replace it free of charge. That's a warranty I can live with.

Immensely helpful insight my friend. This combined with some other research i did has sold me. I didn't know about the warranty, Its good to know of his confidence with his blades.
