Can anyone share their experience with this knife as a general hunter/skinner? I need an opinion from someone who has actually field-dressed and skinned with it. Thanks.

Although do not have experience with the Javalina FB by Enterk I had similar knife - the JAG. I know it was tanto (or modified tanto) but other dimensions are the same. The blade was very thick (virtually indestructible) and the knife itself was very heavy. Even with different type of blade I cannot imagine using it for skinning. IMO the knife is good for heavy work - but skinning? You should probably handle it first and decide afterwards....

I don't have any experience with the Javalina, but I own a cobra which is similar, I am not a hunter, but I just got 20 white tail deer legs, so that I could use the bones for knife handles, the cobra was the knife I had sitting in my shop, and that is what I used to skin the legs, and it worked very well. Better than my camillus 154cm edc, or my personal designed neck knife. I would recommend any of Ray's knives. They will work for what they are designed for.
