Entrek Knives?

I did a search but didn't come up with the info I was looking for.

So does anybody out there own a Force Recon, or Force Recon MkII, or a Silhouette?

The Spyderco Warrior is the next to buy on my big knife list and I'm toying with the idea of a Force Recon next. That double edged Persian blade with the slightly dropped handle looks like it would be a lot faster in the hand than the stock thickness might imply.

I've trained Comtech Bowie and own and play with many knives this size, so the size doesn't intimidate me.

My "fighting knives" mostly see action in a drawer, but that doesn't mean I don't want a quality piece. So any info I could get would be appreciated?

Does Roy make it out to the OKCA show in April?

Thanx

I have tested several ENTREC knives

Very unrated

Tough and comfortable to use

But hard to re-sell on these forums(not sure why)

I'm with William on this. Go ahead and get one. You won't be disappointed.

So what have your experiences been?

I have an Ontario Helle's Belle I like to play with. Although I wouldn't expect an Entrek to be near as fast as this that might give you an idea of how I expect a knife to move.

I don't have a Helle's Belle, so I can't compare my Force Recon to it. What I can tell you is that the Force Recon is very well balanced and quick in the hand. Like yours, however, my fighting knives mostly see action on a knife stand. (I finally got around to moving them out of the drawer.)

Here's a pic if it helps:

The Force Recon is the second knife up from the bottom.
