Entry hawk a reality?

Hi, guys.

Seeing as the Mini has become some kind of ridiculous pipe-dream, I need to know whether the Entry Hawk has any chance of becoming a production item.

The Skinner just doesn't do it for me, the SRT's will replace my Becker 7 as my car knife, but the EH looks just plain nasty.

If it's going into production (sometime), I'll keep my one 'Hawk slot at home open for it.

If not, I'd like to know so I'll look at getting a competitor's version.

Thankee much.

We still have the Entry Hawk in the works.

The Mini is slowly coming to fruition also ;) (man did I really say that outloud? )

Um, yeah you did. I was going to just chase you around Blade wispering Mini Mini Mini Mini but I wouldn't have got all these neat new toys if I did that. :D

Eric,

Sweet -- thanks for the update.

I will therefore solemnly keep waiting for the Entry Hawk. It will be my first. :)

Eric,
Can you please educate me on the theory behind this Entry Hawk?
Is it intended for actual entry use, i.e. through doors by EMS or police?
Having used a fire axe to chop through a ladies' restroom door one night, and feet & shoulders & sledgehammers on other doors, I'm thinking it's a little light for serious door work.
Or, is the name based on something else?
I'd like to know the testing you did with it, if you can get a minute.
Thanks.

Eric uses the prototype to prop open the door from his foyer into the family room, hence the name. :D :D

Ah, thanks FA, that explains it. :D
I wasn't trying to throw cold water on the project, and I'm sure it'll have other uses, just didn't understand the "entry" utility.
