I'm considering buying an Enzo Trapper but I'm a little concerned that the handle is too thin. The handle scales looks very thin close to the ricasso. Does anyone have experience with the knife and the handle?

I wouldn't be concerned about the ricasso part, but the handle on mine was way too squared for hard material like micarta. Hurts your hand when you are really cutting with big effort. I'd go with the more traditional rat tail tang designs as they are more rounded.

The EnZo is a fine knife......thick, strong, sharp, and I have no problem with the ricasso or any other part. Ideally, you can get a Kit knife and put it together yourself. In doing so, there isn;t any part of the knife you can;t shape or adjust to suit your hand.

Or.......just order the blades and scale them yourself:

The Enzos are great knives. Try one of them, at least.....

I agree, the Trapper is very nice. I was thinking about getting a kit and make the handle to fit my hands. But I do not have all the equipment or the time to do it. Plus I need someone to make a custom sheath that fit the knife.
