I'm looking for a premium bushcraft knife. I have a boat load of moras, but I want a high end Scandinavian ground bushcrafter. I'm looking at Bark River Bushcrafter, BlackJack Bushcraft Companion, and the Enzo Trapper. I am eyeing the Enzo a bit more due to the slighty lower cost. Does anyone have any idea on how good their warranty is? If Enzo's warranty is shabby then I will go with another Barkie, after all we pay for warranties too.

Is buyin the Enzo a smart move? I have no doubt that it's a good knife.

I have used an Enzo Trapper on many hikes and trips over the last 8 years or so. Mine was a kit in O1 and was worth every penny I paid for it. I have been very satisfied.

Never needed the Enzo warranty, so can't help you on that one
But the fact that no one knows about warranty tells you something ;)

I love my trapper's little brother, the Elver.
Solid knife, easy to get it scalpel sharp (mine is O1 steel)...Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

I've recently bought an EnZo Trapper blade in O1 and am in the process of making a handle for it from some Walnut I got while I lived in Bosnia.

The project isn't finished so I can't comment on the durability of the blade/edge, but it seems very high-quality. It came shaving sharp and in all ways is very well constructed.

I would buy another one without a second thought.

I assume the scales are epoxied before pinned correct? Im talking about from the factory.

I would think the scales would be epoxied on at the factory - I can't imagine a better way to adhere them....

Incidentally, I finished my EnZo Trapper and will be posting up a thread with pics about the process in the Outdoor Gear forum.

Had an Enzo Trapper for years
Excellent knife
It is a zero grind scandi (no scandi vex like most other scandis on the market)
Balances very well in the hand and is light in the hand

Micro chipped when I first got it (ages ago)
Do not now if it was my usage or the knife
Sharpened it on waterstones back to the zero grind
Been perfect ever since

I highly recommend the Enzo Trapper
Look at the D2 zero grind as it will hold an edge longer
