enzo trapper

You get a lot of knife for the money. Full tang that is skelentonized, nice handles, and really just a perfect size for the average hand.

I had the O1 version till my brother begged it off me. Nice knife. You can get 27 of them for 3000$. Russ

Excellent knife (as are most of the other enzo knives like the necker). Just pick the right one for you... scandi or flat grind, 12c27, o1 or n690 steel... great value for the money.

I've got the Enzo Birk 75 folder with Scandi grind in D2. Love it. Just get an Enzo.

The Trapper is a great knife. I have one in 01 and it's been a great tool in the woods.

The EnZo Trapper is probably my favorite everyday carry option and an amazing knife. As for that bushcraft style I also have the Condor Bushlore, Tops BOB, Tops Scandi Trekker and a Mora Forest, All of these knives are excellent and I have used them all extensively where I live in the mountains. The EnZo Trapper is the one I typically reach for, with the Condor Bushlore being the second. The Finnish Trapper is the N690Co model, which has beautiful shine and very, very sharp blade. The knife is the perfect length for daily carry, it's super light, excellent construction, corrosion resistant, retains sharpness for a long time, is extremely tough and comes with a very high quality dangler sheath. Of my knives, this one fits the bill for my daily daily carry. If you dont need a Rambo knife and want something you carry practically, this is about as good as it gets.

I really love how inexpensive the Enzos are if you buy the kits. Especially directly from Finland.

This looks fantastic. What metal mixture is used in this ?

The blade in the picture is made of 01 tool steal. I purchased both the 01 and the D2 versions of this knife. I ended up keeping the 01 and giving the D2 to a friend of mine. I just liked the 01 better.

FYI, thats the letter "o", not "zero" in O1. The "o" stands for "oil quench".

I have a trapper in n690co. The handle is much to short and sharp at the end for my hands. I was whittling a 1 inch diameter branch, I would push down and turn the blade out of the branch, I did this a few times and the blade had 8 small chips in it. Really disappointed... I got the blade back to shaving sharp on Japanese water stones. But I'm just not impressed with the trapped in that steel.ill stick to my mora in carbon steel or my SWC in 01.

I'm a big fan of the trapper (Disclaimer: I do sell EnZO knves) I don't carry it out in the woods much as I really like the rounder and larger wooden handles of a more traditional shaped knife. However, for a full tang knife it is an excellent knife and will stack up with most knives of any price range in terms of function and build quality. However, I was very surprised how comfortable the EnZo Trapper felt in my hand. The trapper fits my larger hand well. I'm a big 1095 fan but EnZo doesn't make a model in 1095. I haven't used a Trapper in N690CO but I've been treating my Borka lockback not so kindly the last few months and it is N690CO. It did a fairly bang up job this weekend carving up a large piece of mahogany. It is the sharpest knife out of the box I have received, granted you have to maintain it. I've only stropped it so far.

I also have to agree with possum..I have a Necker on my belt this morning. Super comfortable for a little knife. I find the Elver more appropriate for medium to smaller hands. The Necker feels great in my size 9 hands.
