  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Does anybody have any experience with the Enzo trapper in a flat grind? Does anybody have experience with scandi grind and flat grind in the Enzo? Any preferences?

Had the scandi ground version, it was a winner. But it had some great rosewood ilbruche handles that were nice and round. Either way, the blades are solid if the style suits you.

I have the scandi and it was the first scandi grind I had. I usually prefer a thinner blade and the flat grinds on Brisa Oy look intrigueing

Love my Enzo in 01!

Tough knife and cuts like a scalpel!
Used it to baton the other day as well!

Spooky,

Got a pic? I like Enzo's and am a big fan of Ilbruche's work...

I traded it off a while back (to Jeff H maybe?) so I'll have to dig through the bowels of my photobucket account! :D .....

With apologies for the crappiness....

This one Is Beautiful, I was just looking at the Enzo Trappers at Ben's Backwood's and seen they come In 01 & D2 and also AUS8 Steel's "I Like The Steel Selection" And a good selection of Handle material but the Curly Birch Wood on this one you got Is Nice, They seem Real Well Made,

Your Knife Is Looking Great Spooky, Thank's for posting the picture, !

Buying the blade alone and then getting some exotic woods afterwards is one way to go.
That way you can hand pick wood with really nice grain/patterns.
There are lots of exotic wood slab sellers on ebay.
You can get some real deals there if you are patient.
I bought some cocobolo and amboyna burl on ebay and put them on my Becker blanks-

I also bought some nice Ironwood and put it on a Camillus blank last week, haven't taken any pics yet though.
I bought my Enzo as a kit (blade/corby bolts/liner/curly birch square wood slabs and leather sheath) and cut the slabs to fit and made them reach right up to the cutting edge.

Nice Work tholiver, Them are some Very Nice Becker Camillus Companion's, Beautiful Wood, And a Great Job "Well Done !
