OK, first, you're more likely to get an answer in the main forum (under "General Discussion").
Second, without knowing more about the piece, it's impossible to say. Are there any marking at all, or is it "sterile" (which is gov-speak for "no markings")?
Finally, if you can possibly take a picture of it, that would help. If you don't have a digital camera, find a flatbed scanner somewhere...lay the knife right on the scanner glass, throw a towel or other white cloth over the top, and scan it
