Yes and I read all the threads about how to deal with it and I just think its not worth it. I would rather pay up for a finished blade. I do appreciate the option to purchase an unfinished blade to save some bucks, but had I known that the rusting was going to be a likely issue I would not have availed myself of this option. But, its all personal preference and some people won't mind this. It chafes me a little. I'll get over it. :thumbup:
The Comp grades are meant to be ugly, so, think of the surface oxidation as a free bonus cosmetic "uglifier" or a self-sustaining, regenerating, desert camo pattern that begs to be beaten!. . . . . I like free stuff!! :thumbup:

Hey,. Horton dose powder coating too. Im sure if you send the comp grades to him for a fee he will powdercoat them. He even can remove and reinstall the handles............just a though
