Alrighty then, I'm not calling this a contest, you'll see why in a minute. :D

Here's the deal, the Tweeners will be out at SHOT Show 2012. Catalog goes into print at the beginning of October, we need some names.

The task is to name the lineup of knives. Something good, something that can sum up the Tweeners in a couple of words or more, something like,

EBK Series (EveryBody's Knife) something like that. Don't get too long winded, and if it makes a good acronym, all the more better.

AND, we need to name the individual knives themselves.

Drop Point

Clip Point

Trailing Point

If Kabar chooses your suggestions for the name, you will win either Sterile Prototypes, First Run, or a Limited Edition set. Sound good? Yeah, I thought so.

Here is the fine print, though.

Post up your suggestion in this thread. Post as many times as you want. DON'T EDIT YOUR POSTS, MAKE A NEW ONE EACH SUGGESTION.

Absolutely no chatting in this thread. If you want to discuss it, I'll be starting a thread for that.

Have fun with it, goofy or silly names are fine.

This was done when the BK14 was coming out, and it was a hit, I expect this to far overshadow that. :D

One more thing, the name might not come from this thread, it might come from somewhere else, so, a "winner" might not be chosen. Now you see why its not a contest. BUT, the winner COULD come from this thread, and there is a good chance one of ya'll will hit it big.

SO, you name 'em, you win 'em, and YOU could be the guy/gal that gets to tell his friends, "Yeah, I came up with that".

This ends, September 30th.

Fire away.

My (first) suggestion BT1 (Drop Point) for Becker Tweener #1

Also fits the "in between" BT... :-)
