Epoxy question RE: buffing

Read all the glue wars stuff with great interest and a hardy thanks to those who spent their hard earned money and precious time educating us.

Here is a question to ponder: Which glue would take the best fiinish (BUFF) if used as a filler in hollow pin material say 1/4" or so?

Anybody experimented with this idea?

i use 5 min 2 tone epoxy and i have put the sanding dust from the handle and mixed with the epoxy. it tends to turn out darker than the wooden handle but it gives a good contrast. it took all of about 30 seconds to sell that one when i showed it off.

Did it take a good buff/polish?

hughes associates epoxy 330 is the best for polishing and most any other use.

Devcon black epoxy from Sheffield supply is what I use as mosaic pin filler. It polishes up nicely from buffing.
