Epoxy wood finish

I was reading one of the muzzleloading forums and they talked about an epoxy sealer that they use on rifle stocks. They called it "rot doctor" and I turned up the following web site.

Click on "epoxy sealer" and see what it says.
I have not heard of it before -- has any one here used it and what did you think of it ?

Try one caklled rot-fix. I found it at either Home Depot or Lowes .
I added it to minwax wood hardener to add a little more body to the mix.
Worked ok but after a time the wood hardener turned jelly like. The epoxy setting up I suppose. Still it took a month at least.
The wood treated this way under vacumn set up and dried out just fine.
