Epoxy Wrapping Handle

Hi, I was thinking of trying to wrap burlap and epoxy directly onto the stick tang of a Mora #1 and sandwiching and clamping it to let it dry. Also drilling and pinning the tang after everything dries.

Does anybody have thoughts on this or advice for putting a resin handle on a Mora #1?

That was perfect. I think I might have to try his technique when the weather warms up a bit more. Don't have a space inside to let the epoxy cure.
Should any of these be good enough for the project? The store was out of hardener for the clear polyester resin.

I use the Castin' Craft clear polyurethane quite a bit. It's what I suggest. Wait for the hardener.
The Easy Craft is not clear and doesn't harden well in my experience.
