Equivalent of Chesness' 9260 line for European swords?

Is there a manufacturer who makes European style swords which are as durable and well made as Chesness' 9260 Japanese swords at a similar(under $350) price?

It could be said that all medieval swords look alike but there is a lot of diversity in form. In terms of durability, a lot is going to depend on what you really expect. Destructive video tests can show just about anything and prove very little, in the end. Don't fall prey to that type of marketing.

The Tinker/Hanwei swords are well regarded at the lower price range. That, both in terms of quality and historic aesthetic. There are other CAS/Hanwei swords that have less historic aesthetic, while being sold at the $200 mark.

Although I do not recommend Darksword Armory, some like them and could be just as cultish as Cheness.

Del Tin swords are a bit more expensive but reliable.

Those three use decent steel, have reasonable use in mind and are more or less as well made as Cheness.

The Tinker/Hanwei swords are the best value I see out there right now.

I add Windlass/Museum Replicas as a possible. There are also the Cold Steel swords.

Cheers

GC
