My son recently bought a Zero Tolerance ZT350 and I love it. Actually have serious knife envy.

What I love most is the solid, robust feel in the hand. The perfect ergonomics of the handle shape, and grip of the G10. The super thick liner lock. I love the size of the blade and the shape of the front drop point and big belly.....

But I HATE recurves!!! Aghhhh!
So close to a perfect folder!

Pray tell, where should I look for essentially the same knife without the recurve?

I am with you. I hate recurves. That has kept me from owning both the 0200 and 030X Series, possibly the most popular series of ZT. I would say take a close look at the ZT 0909 George design. Great knife and one of my favorites.

ZT only has one other liner lock in its production models and that's the 0909. It has a 3.8" blade of S35VN and G-10 scales. It sells for 180.00 and weighs about 7.5 ounces. By comparison, ZT 0350 with a 3.25" blade of S30V sells for $140.00 and weighs 6.2 ounces. 0900 uses ball bearing flipper action versus SpeedSafe Assisted Opening on the 0350.

What about the 0770? 😉

i want a 0350 quite badly, but cant get over the recurve as well. if you can live without the assist, the composite junkyard dog II is a winner!!! i carry it quite often. the pocket clip needs swapped or modded though..

You're right that also has a liner lock albeit inset.

Probably a better fit for the OP as well since 0770 (comes with CF or aluminum handles but no G-10) has a 3.25" blade but it's much lighter than the 0350 series which could be a plus or minus to some.

I would highly recommend the ZT 0566BW. It isn't a liner lock, but it does have insanely good ergonomics, 3.25 blade and carries amazingly well.

Thats the ZT 0909. The 0900 is the smaller frame lock version.

Kershaw Rake. It doesn't look like a 0350, but it is speedsafe with g10 scales. Roughly the same size. Composite blade with no recurve. When I had one it really felt like a cousin to the 0350.

I'm sure there's going to be some flack sent my way for this suggestion, but take a look at Emerson knives. Great ergos, grippy G10 and sturdy liner locks. Maybe you can find a blade shape you like in that line-up.

I may be the minority here but it is partly the recurve that makes ZT0200 such a beautiful and capable knife.

Thanks for all the quick feedback! I had looked at some ZT's that had frame locks, but then I loses the G10 slabs on each side if the handle. I think that is a key element of that great feel in the hand.

I'll take a look at the larger 0909. I have large hands and this would only be carried outside as a camping or work knife.

I did look through the Emerson lineup, but nothing struck my fancy like the ZT350.

How many diamond stones did it take to fix the recurve on the ZT? Yikes!

If you were willing to look outside of zero tolerance, you might like a spyderco ppt. Yes they're discontinued, but you could probably find one on the used market. I owned one for a year or so, it was a very sturdy, very ergonomic knife.

The spine jimping was rounded because it ate my pockets, the handle was reprofiled a bit as well.
