As the title says: samey same or different? I ask because I ordered a new one, and would like to get a sheath ordered as well - but am curious as to whether the sheath makers will also need to wait for the knives to start showing up...
 
A leather sheath for the Gen 1 might work, but I sure wouldn't risk ordering a kydex sheath now and hoping it will fit your Gen 2.
 
I would definitely wait.
