Ergo Replacements?

I have seen and held the replacements, but have been sworn to secrecy.

Jerry said something about "No more INFI for you" if I took any pictures or even described the knives. Let me say though, nobody will be dissappointed!

It's true Cerberus... we have all been playing with the new designs for months... testing them on the usual arm hair and cheese spreads... but the contract is binding... just can't tell you anything more than the fact that they are going to blow your mind. In order to be on the testing list you will have to purchase another 3-4 more knives so that Jerry knows you are drinking the INFI Koolaid.

Though I think it is ok for me to mention that I will be climbing Mount Shasta in another month with an INFI ice pick... nothing like hands on product testing to prove how good a product is!

I will add that the replacement to the ERGO line is FANTASTIC !!

Personally, I can't wait !!

Hmmm…I’m a relative newcomer to this strange fascination with knives from Wauseon, so I may not be up to speed regarding all of the planned changes to the product line. I realize that the Ergo line is going to be replaced with something new, but is this change imminent? I’ve had my eye on an SH-E for some time, but I’ve never gotten around to ordering one…should I look into getting one in the near future? I’d hate to miss out on the opportunity to add an ergo Steel Heart to my nascent collection…(who knows, the replacement line may be even better  )

Of course, if Jerry were to offer up some nifty Desert Tan SH’s in the near future, I wouldn’t have to worry about ordering one of the reg’lar ones :p.

hoarding this knowledge over us that are not in the "know". That is just not right. I thought that I was among friends with my BM, ZTSH and NO. I thought that I had penetrated the inner circle of INFInate wisdom, but , I guess not. I see how you are now. What does it take, what price do I have to pay, how much koolaid do I have to drink????

But if all I got to do is just but more knives, I am OK wit dat. Reviews and taxes comming, which means more cash. Any time frame?
Can anyone share some sizes or are you just gonna leave us swinging on the vine? With all the conspiracy in here I am starting to think that there really is a folder and some luck SOB out there has it!

The keepers of secrets are lonely folk.

But, not as lonely as those who don't.

I am confused!

Quote; seen, held the replacements?
Quote; ...replacement to the ERGO line is FANTASTIC !!

WTF!?

Did I miss something? Or is it because I am geologically deprived?:grumpy:

Will the BM, SH, NO, BA all have replacements?

You bastids! I am gonna spend all my savings on the older stuff and then you will Napalm me with the new line!

Geez!

Gundy, I'm already trying to figure out what kind of stuff I can sell, so that I have money available when the new ones come out. These things are THAT cool!

Better start searching for that second job now :(

I am really looking forward as to whats going to replace the E-handles. Even more so then the Folder! :footinmou

Fret not Gundy and Cerebrus, for can you imagine the pressure those of us imbowed with the holy knowledge but who cannot speak of it are under?! It is a heavy weight indeed we carry !!

And as for buying the older stuff Gundy, the Ergos of today could be the straight handles of tomorrow regarding appreciation and collector value !!

But I am glad that I have Gundy is out swinging in the breeze with me:D

All the consolation is good guys, but nobody has told me how to break into that inner sanctum! What did you guys do to get to be those select few. Inquiring minds want to know!!!

I will not rest until I find the answer!!!!!!

Cerberus

To join the inner sanctum you must do the following TOP 10 things:

10. Pay hommage to the big guy (no, not that big guy ;) ),
9. Must have purchased at least 50 Busses, preferably expensive one of a kinds and variants,
8. Must be a participant on all "Death Chats",
7. Name your first born Steelheart, Battle Mistress or Badger,
6. Send chocolates and flowers to Kassi and Shaggi (right Raden!?!?),
5. Sell all your other fixed blades that are non-Busses,
4. Become a recognized INFI Hog,
3. Ship lots of CBL to Wauseon,
2. Agree to beat the heck out of your Busses,

and the number one thing you must do~!!!!

1. Take good care of the Busse Custom Shop director !!

That is gonna take a while. I had over 70 knives at one time, but that took 15 years......but if that's what I gotta do...........

You hogs better still be here is 15 years!!!!!!!!!!

Cerberus

We may have a slight problem here.........my first born is 6 now. D4MN the luck! I guess I will have to wait until they his the market luck the populus does.

I have not seen all of the replacement models, nor do I know if any among us has. What I have seen shows a progession of sorts in Jerry's designs toward more style and flare without departure from the steadfast functionality that has been the trademark of his renowned past. If I were a wine reviewer, I could say, "Arrogant but not overbbearing ..." and similar witty quotes. Here, I can only say that the future looks good but has not forsaken the past.
