So I am thinking my next blade to originate in Wauseon should be one of these classics. Unsure of yet on which one I want because I am really partial to 5-6 inch knives (NO-e) but the SH-e just looks great. So while I try to figure this fun stuff out how about some pics of your Ergos preferably used and beaten!!!

Yes and yes. I used a hacksaw to chop the greater portion of it off, then used low grit sandpaper to round it up a bit. It's lighter, and still not blade heavy. Less overall length also. All in all, I'd do it again.

I also sanded down the spine at the palm swell a bit. I don't mind the belly, but that top hump was killing me. I like to grip with my fingers not my palm.

You would like the ZT and Bolo then, they have a smaller grip feel almost like they did the mod you mentioned.

Nice to see the Ergo next to the Fusion. To me the Ergo looks hmm refined maybe and the Fusion looks raw if that makes sense at all I know it does in my head.

Steel Heart Ergo is one of my all time favorite Busses. I'm sure a NO-E would be awesome too but I have no experience.

Well, the NOe is simply an ash 1 with an Ergo handle IMHO. And I do get the comparison of refined vs raw. Good one.

I dont have the coated Badger anymore, but all the of the remaining are heavily used. :) Ergo's my favorite of the line.
