blade is X15TN tempered with liquid azote, body is Z20C13 tempered and small falk/knive Z40C13 tempered.
He has done design and build it last night, after many glass of whiskies with a friend...
result is not bad is'nt it?:D

That's awesome! What a great little knife.

a lot of comments made to him was "kindda porshe design".

FYI, the small falk and knife are made to eat local belgian shell in bars(Bulot/caricole):D

Wow that is an awesome knife with some user friendly accessories to be sure. Will you let us know when these become available?

Interesting knife................

One question though, "blade is X15TN tempered with liquid azote" What is liquid azote?

Just curious

That would be liquid nitrogen :)
Very cool knife, I hope Eric will have it at the Paris show

oki, the new baby i showed you some weeks ago has now a name ("diplomat", i allready ordered mine and expect to have it in 6 months..)

To compensate, i baught a new one, with carbon fiber also, named "reflex":D

blade is RWL34, you could held opening the blade by pressing the buton (but it's not and assisted opener)
Close to it, there is the first Parmentier i baught, 6 months ago (named 1830, in red micarta)

what do you think about?
sorry for the crappy pics, i am far from being specialist:D, and in addition, imageshack doesn't seems to be working properly...:(

I think the French ... can design a very nice knife! :D

The Diplomat does seem pretty innovative to me, and I will begin looking for it. If I can find one, I'll finally have the right 'equipment' to dive into Maryland shellfish!

I like the handle on the Reflex -- will have to Google up more pictures of the blade, though.

Interesting, very interesting. Mr. Parmentier has real skills. Makes me wish I'd learned French instead of German, so I could participate in that Forum. :o
