Even though I'm mostly into folders, from time to time I get a fixed blade.
This one is a hunter by the french maker Eric Plazen. It is a medium sized knife, about 4" blade.
The blade is a sandwich construction with a 1455C core and old iron. The guard is iron too, and the handle is pear wood.
The knife is simple, much like nordic pukko's. The edge is extremly sharp and convex, the blade flat ground.
I really like this knife, simple but nicely made.
