Hi Eric
It was a great pleasure to see you at Blade and also to see the new SR's which will grace us all soon. I instantly fell in love with the Rucki and I will be having a few of these.
Can you please choose one of the below approximate ETA's for opening orders so I can put the cash aside for my order?

1. 10-30 days
2. 30-60 days
3. longer than 60 days

The Rucki's are gonna be HUGE and I want to get in early!:)

Eric, I was one of the fortunate Bladeshow attendees that caught a ticket for an offering on a Rucki. Amy took my name, etc. Can you please go over what will happen, and what I'll need to do when they are available. I believe she said that someone from the shop will contact me. Just wanted to make sure that was the case.

Yes, that is the case. Someone will contact you when they are available to get your info and your order.

They will be staggered offerings. Rucki will most likely be first and we hope to open pre-orders sometime in the month of July, hopefully with the first one's being ready about 4-6 weeks after the pre-orders open

Very good to know. Does this include the 11 series too? Or just the Ruck and War Hawk?
 
Wow....good news. The Rucki looks like a home run. July?????......right around the corner.

Hey guys, just wanted to get some input. In your opinion, what is your prefered color combination for the Rucki? I'm somewhat undecided over the color combo I'm wanting when ordering is available. Based on the Blade photos provided, do you believe there will be additional color combos not shown? I'm just not that familiar with the SwampRat line yet. I've gone to their website and it appears that some of the other products have different color options.

More than likely there will be a lot more color combos to choose from. But 6 show models for Blade was more than enough, and 2 for the War Hawk. They just wanted to show people what it looked like, the entire Busse family brought a TON of knives for Blade so room was probably limited.

As for the favorite color combo, I'm liking the the tan micarta and moss green, but the moss green is a little rough so I'm thinking about the desert sage too. I'm just going to get something that matches my pack so I'll match and look cool for the zombie apocalypse. But the coating is going to be stripped eventually so it doesn't matter that much.

I can't wait for these to come out :D

When the Waki first came out I had the same problem trying to figure out which color combo I liked the best. So I ordered my 3 favorites at the time (Black with Black/Red G10 / Tanker Gray with Black/White G10 / Sage with Black/Green G10). Since then, I've had the Black blade satinized (if that's a real word) and I like it much better. And right now I cannot imagine parting with any of them - it would be way too hard to choose which one to unload. So when the Rucki comes out I guess I'm screwed because I will have to order 3 of them as well to match the Wakis. :D Although the Black/Orange G10 is also starting to look real good...hmmm.
