Finally got to pick it up yesterday! Ken's first single-spring Muskrat has landed in my hot little hands!
Ken has done an amazing job, fitting those two long, graceful blades into a very tight space. A single backspring 2-blade knife makes a perfect pocketable tool. When you open one of the blades, it is nearly centered in the handle, instead of way off to one side, as in a two spring knife. This improves the feeling of control and balance in the hand. And darn it, it just looks nicer!
With a "prototype" you expect some minor flaws or inefficiencies, but this knife has only one or two things that do not affect the knife, and wouldn't be noticed by most, unless pointed out.
It is a keeper, for sure!!
Feast yer eyes!!
