Ernie's a CKCA member so I have communicated with him several times and he's a good guy. I haven't handled his knives as of yet but they look very nice. Hope to see him at the Blade Show this year.

He's serious about knifemaking.

I have tried to get a large custom lock back for a while know without any success. I ordered one some years ago (not from Ernie) and it wasn´t well made. Lock backs are always a lottery if you cannot inspect them.

Ernie makes nice stuff. He is also the go-to guy for stencils.

Fred Slee makes nice lock back folders in many styles at reasonable prices. I recently purchased my fifth at the Chesapeake Knife Show. I don't know if he does other shows. His contact info (tel. 732-591-9047). His address is 9 John St., Morganville, NJ 07751.
