My wife likes hooked blades, she likes the Spyderco Harpy/Merlin type of blade. However, she has discarded this for a better knife, an Emerson SpecWar.

My question to you is, she actually does carry a knife for defensive reasons...how about a production Eagle (?) hook blade folder? Opening hole that she likes better than stud, disc or "Wave." And a superior lock, liner lock over back lock. More or less what you did with the Commander, just make a production version of it.

What do you think?

Then you could make a trainer for that too!

I love this stuff.
 
Last year there was a rumour from Emerson Knives concerning a production CQC9 "Eagle" for January 1, 1999. Obviously, they have been swamped with other projects and this may have never gotten off the ground. Would love to see it however.

Any information on which autopsy tool that hook blade was patterned after? That wa sin another thread in this forum regarding the LaGriffe I think. I have to check.
