Erronious Error Message!??

I am trying to link to an avatar instead of directly uploading, but when I go to submit changes I get this message: Error - cannot find an image at the specified URL. Please make sure that you have entered a valid URL.

It is BS, because it is a valid url, I just uploaded to an image host. :thumbdn:

do I need to put tags in there?

I believe you have to upload your avatar; linking to one somewhere else is not an option (and shouldn't be). Just save it to your hard drive and upload it to the Bladeforums servers.

it might be too big, but a smaller one was getting the same response they are both under 10 kb

Cougar: the reason I am asking is because it does give the option in the user CP. why give the option at all if it isnt going to work?
