Photos HAVE to be hosted some were on the internet.
You can find threads here how to do this, it's not very hard and it is free.

My understanding is that, as a gold member, you could upload images as attachments to your post (the small images that enlarge when viewer hovers over) - or you could upload to a photo hosting site and quote the image code from the uploaded pic into your post (the size of your image in your post is mostly determined by the pixel size you upload to the hosting site). For graphic impact, my sense is that a good number of members go for the large image in their posts.

I am happy to be corrected on this if in error.

Thanks for the replies. I find this instance strange as I've always uploaded pictures from Tapatalk onto the thread and now I'm getting this error message.

Edit: Ok so I just noticed that I can't post pictures specifically in threads where I'm not the OP. Just tried to post a picture on two different threads and I got the same error message. This has never happened before. Is there a reason for that?

We had a problem with Tapatalk just yesterday, and may be having some problems now. I don't use it myself, so I can't guess any further than that.
