Error: "You have reached your maximum number of attachments allowed"

Hi....
I am getting this Error: "You have reached your maximum number of attachments allowed"
When I try to load photos. I have gone in and deleted photos in the "attachments" section of my profile.
I have also tried loading much smaller images.
No luck yet.
I am a gold member...and I think that my subscription is current.
Not sure what to do.
