Will EK ever start going into mass production on the ES1? I would like to see the full size Commander at a production level price.

I agree !!

It's nice to see the mini variations but let's see some larger size projects also.

Yeah! now we're talking

let's get rid of those sissy mini's, we real men want real knives = LARGE knives, we NEED an ESM-1, right now!

Really, i'd love that

(no offense meant for the "small knife" loving crowd)

Remember what the ladies always tell us: "it's not the size of the blade that matters. it's how you use it."

Keep dreaming...keep dreaming...I'd be happy with a return to the 1998 style Commander, you guys are bucking for a real acid trip now.

And the same goes for a knife...
And, I'm a Usual Suspect.

You Betcha, It seems most of the production models all have the same length blade ( from tang to tip ). the only variation is where the pivot point is located. I would love to see a real 4 inch blade on an Emerson production model.

Cheers

Peter

Nothing puny about a 3+" blade... if you stick someone (or something) with it, they (or it) get stuck. Nowhere does it say that you have to impale your target to be effective. Personally, I think the blade size on Ernie's knives is perfect - just the right size to fit in a pocket, or ruin someone's day.
