Anyone know what type of fuel is used in the weber bar-b-que starter
blocks? Hexamine or Triox? They are a large white block, 12 per blister pac. Cheap to!
Has anyone tested the new Becker blade? how does it compare?Wt. Chopping etc.? Frediver<><

frediver, thanks, dude. I bought some of those firestarters YEARS ago, and forgot where I got them. I broke them into smaller packs, and then packaged them in plastic wrap and duct tape, for emergency use. Well, I'm just about out, and wanted to get more, but couldn't for the life of me remember WHERE I'd gotten them from. I'm going to have to hit all the BBQ sections in the local stores until I find them again. As to what they are, I *think* they're the same as Esbit fuel. They certainly look the same, although I've never seen what either is made of. Those firestarters do a great job, though, and burn long enough to use in a small stove. I have a mission!
