Naa, just a heads up to those browsing the magazines this weekend...the new issue of SWAT has part one of a two part series Jeff wrote about E&E.

Sorry, it's in the January issue which I got today in the mail...I think it hits stands next week.

I never understood why magazines do that...release an issue a month before what is written on the cover..
 
that was a great article.. i was reading it today at our local Borders...:thumbup:
 
Part 2 is coming the next issue then an E&E tool article after that, so 3 months of E&E :)
 
Dave Canterbury and Blind Horse are putting out Self Reliance Illustrated.

I'd looooove to see ESEE and Pelton get together and get their mag on the stands. :D
 
Print magazines are just a tough business to get into. I doubt any magazine we ever had planned will come to fruition.

I was thinking about that the other day. Honestly, some of your articles in PDF are some of my favorite pieces. Can keep them digitally on a thumb drive stashed with my other stuff and print as many copies as I want for my own use.
 
Actually, I haven't seen the article in the magazine either. I think I let my sub run out and they took me off their mailing list.
 
Don, thanks for your help on some of the aspects (especially part 3). I sent you part 2 of the article via email. Just can't release it publicly until the February issue has been on the stands for a while
 
I got the latest issue of SWAT this week with part two of this article..I never thought about removing certain fuses on a vehicle you don't want "lighting up" when you're operating it:thumbup:
