Is there any practical difference' as far as slightly more rust resistance in the 1095 chrome vanadium steel that Kabar , Case and some others use than plain 1095 steel? As many othesr have posted can't decide between esee 6 or bk7.

I have an ESEE-4 and a BK-15. I feel that any difference in corrosion resistance will be negligible. Especially if you leave the coating on the blade.

The Beckers clearly have a cost advantage, but the ESEEs have upgraded handles and sheaths. I would also give the edge to ESEE on warranty.
