New to the forum. Old to knives. Just bought an ESEE-3. Can't wait to play with it. Hope I don't stab myself driving home. 😄

I fondle my knives in my car frequently and yes, I have cut myself because my attention is only marginally focused on the blades. On trips, I take a few along to fondle. Hope you enjoy your ESEE 3. It is a good knife.

Ok. Made it so far with just a few small cuts and gouges. Every piece of paper in the car is shredded though. But I stopped myself from using the glass breaker. 😜

Some wood scales and a leather sheath are now on my to do list. This knife is a user but I still want a good looker too.

I've read that they are good slicers. Which may be beneficial considering that it is a knife. :D

Oh, welcome to the forum by the way. The ESEE 3 is a good start and a very practical choice. I have an ESEE 4. It is my only ESEE blade. Don't ask me about Kabar Beckers.... they are quite infectous and new ones just keep appearing.

That's my favorite fixed blade. It will look like this in no time.
