Hey Jeff and Mike,

I just thought you should know that I received ESEE 4 # 1768, and so far # 1768 seems like she turned out just fine... ;)

Once I get a chance to get out and thump on her a bit, I'll show you the rest and give you my thoughts, but my initial impressions are that this 4 is going to be a fantastic addition to my folding saw and hatchet for my GO TO wilderness tools, and a great addition to my growing ESEE collection. I now have the Izula, the ESEE-4, and the Junglas...

Thanks again fellas,

JGON

That is good! I think they were really worried about that one!

LOL

Seriously though, please do keep us updated. I always enjoy seeing good ones in action...and the character they develop as a result. Although, you should keep an eye on it...you never know when it might get a little bit of a bad streak and bite you.

Jgon,

The 4 is an excellent blade. It'll serve you well. With a small knife, the 4 and your hatchet you can do a whole lot. It's an amazingly versatile tool and super rugged. I honestly don't understand why people think they need the 5 (nothing personal you 5 lovers) I can't imagine breaking the 4.

God bless,
Adam

ESEE 4 # 1754 reporting in. I have had this knife in my possession since late August or so, and it has been everything I hoped it would be and more. If it wasn't on my hip as I wandered around on the trails it was in my MESSENGER BAG (not a man purse:jerkit:) while I was wandering around on campus.

Do you think our blades are related? If not siblings, I would bet they are cousins at least. :D

I've never even paid attention to the #'s on them. Actually I forgot they had them.:D Why are they #'d:confused:

I didn't know the new ones had SNs. have an older RC-4 (old logo). They weren't numbered.
Obviously my -5 and Izula are...
