ESEE-5 with RAT-5 Sheath

I have an ESEE-5 and was wondering if the cordura sheath that comes with the Ontario RAT-5 will work with it (sheath pictured below). I know the ESEE-5 is a full 1/4" thick as opposed to 3/16" with the RAT-5 but I'm not sure that the thickness difference will be prohibitive. Anyone know for sure?

For anyone interested, I went ahead and purchased the Ontario RAT-5 sheath pictured above ($18) and it works perfectly with the ESEE-5. I understand that it isn't the best quality and doesn't even compare to ESEE's sheaths but I purchased the knife only version of the ESEE-5 and needed a sheath that I could mount to the overhead bar in my Jeep. For this use, it serves exactly the same purpose as anything else without having to spend $75 on the kydex sheath with the MOLLE back.

It looks to be the same sheath that came with my Becker BK22. It is unhandy to wear on your belt. The sheath is about 3" longer than the knife. Lashing it somewhere (as you plan to do) seems to be its only practical usefulness.
