Does anyone have a easy (inexpensive) solution to get a molle-backed ESEE-6 to carry lower on my waist so as to not interfere with my backpack's hip belt?
Any help is appreciated:D

Thanks for the link, but.... that thing is way more than what I'm looking for.
How about a molle back "extension" that has a belt loop just to bring the whole thing down 4 or so inches?

get a really big key ring and put it through the loop, then attach something to that, i have heard it called a scandi style belt loop. picture is a bit blurry but you can see what i made with a piece of leather and a rivet.

Just a simple loop of webbing through the top plastic ring of the molle back would drop it down further.

so u know cobra weave paracord bracelets? dont be intimidated there easy to make youtube has a lot of good videos showing how to make them. well i made essentialy a paracord bracelet but long, then folded it over. then used the holes on the sheath to tie it on. i did that on both sides
